In this section, you will learn how to invite app users (e.g. parents) to use the Stay Informed app. You will learn how to approve or reject registrations and link the app users with the corresponding children.
Give the app users the instructions that you will find in the starter pack.
Provide the app users (e.g. parents) with your set-up ID (can be found in the
menu bar at the top left next to the customer number).
As soon as app users have registered, you can approve them in the administration portal
and link them to the children.
➜ Where to find the overview
Navigate to the Overview menu item in the left-hand menu bar.
➜ Approval of the app user registration
Under the heading App User Registration Approval you will see all current registrations.
- Approve or reject app users
- Select an app user.
- Decide whether you want to approve the registration:
✔️ Approve - if the assignment is clear.
❌ Reject - if you are unsure or the details are incorrect.
➜ Linking with children
A new window will open on the right after the app user has given permission.
First check that the app user's details are correct. You can then link the app user to the appropriate child or children.
- Now select the relevant child/children
- If the child/children are not yet registered:
- Click on "Create profile"
- Enter first name, last name, date of birth
- Optional
- Specify pick-up time & lunch
- Assign group(s) → "Create"
Finalize approval
- Check groups and ensure that the correct ones are selected.
- Click "Approve"
- App users will then receive a confirmation email.
➜ Manage rejected registrations
- If it is not possible for you to assign the app user, click on "Reject".
When should you choose which option?
✔ Delete: If you are sure that the person should be removed.
✔ Reject: If you have doubts as to whether the removal was a mistake.
Delete rejected app users from the "App users" area so that they can re-register if
necessary.
You can find this area by clicking on "User management" in the left-hand menu bar and then selecting "App users".
Then select the red "trash icon" to delete the app user.
